Based on novel by Bret Easton Ellis, "Rules," the plot centers around a sexual triangle among students at Camden College, New England, in the '80s. The main character, Sean Bateman ("American Psycho" Patrick Bateman's younger brother) deals drugs and gets involved with his bisexual friend Paul and Paul's ex-girlfriend Lauren.
