This is a report from an extra on the set:

April 17, 2000:
i live in nc and just the last two nights i was an extra with my friend ****. we both live in southport. but last night we went to film and it was raing most of the time but thrusday night we fimled as well from 430pm to 330am and last night 7pm to 4am. but it was all for the ice cream polar scene and man was it cold. everybody had jackets the actors were all bundled up but i did talk to jessica and freddie prince and mathew.ok fist me and **** were set in our first position right behind matt and freddie.  and **** has talked to jessica that saturday before cause they had a party for the cast and crew and extras and they played volley ball with jessica and talked. but jessica was maybe 20 feet in front of us and she looked at us and **** waved at her so she smiled and came over and talked for a few mins and then this guy from sunny point ( a base) was talking on his cell and he was sad cause he couldnt be home for his daughters birthday so he asked jessi to talk on the phone cause his daughter didnt believe him that he was there. so she talked on the phone for a while. but she was really nice. then she had to go beack to her starting point. and me and **** were handed  hackey sacks ( props) and we were just playing around try to get use to it before we get on camera. then matt who was in front of us said "is that all you can do" and he was talking to ****. and shes like yeah. so him and freddie came over and we tryed to keep it up. they all were very cool. but last night we hardly did anything cause it was raining and we finished the ice cream polar scene around 1130 pm and we stopped for lunch at 12 am.( they have lunch every 6 hours. weird huh) and then we never got to finished and they were renting the marina ( where we were filming) cause of the rain. so we waited from 12 to 4am for them to finially call it quits. and me and **** hadnt even done any scenes yet so we were out there for 10 hours ( still getting paid 6 dollars an hour and after 8 hours 12 dollars an hour. so thats like 96 dollars doing nothing. i really want to get to work.)
